What you need
Kay reviews supplies in chapter one — start there before you shop. Amounts are for one project.
Needles
- Felt Alive Felting Needle Six-Pack (color-coded singles — designed to accompany these workshops)
Wool
- 2–3 oz wool batting in the color of your choice
- Small bits of white for teeth and eyes, brown for eyes and shading, and a wisp of dyed merino for eye color
Tools
- Foam felting pad (8×10" or larger)
- Felting stick (paper lollipop stick or wooden skewer)
- Strong sewing needle — used as a sculpting tool, not for sewing
