What you need
Kay reviews supplies in chapter one — start there before you shop. Amounts are for one project.
Needles
- Felt Alive Felting Needle Six-Pack (color-coded singles — designed to accompany these workshops)
Wool
- 1–2 oz wool batting, skin color of your choice
- Small amounts of white wool (roving or batting) for teeth and eyes
- Dyed wool for eye color, blush, and shading
- Wool roving or curly wool locks for hair
Tools
- Foam felting pad (8×10" or larger)
- Felting stick (paper lollipop stick or wooden skewer)
- Strong sewing needle — used as a sculpting tool, not for sewing
