Felt Alive Wool Sculptures (“Felt Alive,” “we,” “us”) runs this shop. This page is about the information this site actually collects — not leftover WordPress comment forms.

What we collect

When you browse

Your cart lives in your browser (local storage) so the needles you pick are still there if you come back. We do not require an account. We do not run a comment form or a customer login on this site.

When you check out

We ask for your name, email, street address, city, state, and ZIP so we can pack the order and send tracking. That information is used to:

  • Send your order confirmation and tracking
  • Ship felting needles to you
  • Respond to refunds, damage claims, and questions
  • Process payment and help prevent fraud
  • Keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting

We store order information (name, email, and addresses) for about 7 years for tax and accounting, matching Felt Alive’s existing practice.

Payments

Cards are processed by Stripe. PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Felt Alive never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe and PayPal receive what they need to charge the order (amount, and billing details you give them).

Videos and other sites

Learn pages embed YouTube workshops. When you press play, YouTube may collect data under its own policy, just as if you visited YouTube directly.

Cookies

This shop uses your browser’s local storage for the cart. Payment providers may set their own cookies when you pay. We do not use the old WordPress comment or login cookies, because those features are not on this site.

Who sees it

Kay (and anyone helping fulfill Felt Alive orders) can see what you bought and where to send it, so the package can go out and refunds can be handled. We do not sell your information.

Shipping carriers (typically USPS) receive the name and address needed to deliver the parcel.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the order data we hold, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep, by emailing support@feltalive.com. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes your cart on this device.

How we protect it

This site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are handled by Stripe and PayPal, not typed into a form we store.
